Here's an astonishing online resource--the entire collection of European video art distributor 235 Media, all available for online viewing and download. The archive contains works by (in many instances, the complete video works of) Marina Abramovic, Marcel Odenbach, Jurgen Klauke, Jochen Gertz, Valie Export, Ulrike Rosenbach, Lynn Hershman, Dara Birnbaum, Gary Hill, Klaus Vom Bruch, Steina and Woody Vasulka, Shelly Silver, Shigeko Kubota, Nan Hoover, Roman Signer, and dozens of others.

Clicking the "go" link next to "Suchen Sie in der Künstlerliste" takes you to an alphabetical listing of the artists in the archive, clicking an artist's name produces a list of the available works. After selecting any work, a group of frame grabs loads (albeit slowly), then a series of clickable options presents itself--clicking "Abspielen" plays the entire work in Quicktime format. The work can subsequently be saved to disk (anyone without Quicktime Pro can simply rummage around in the cache folder and locate the files by organizing by "size", selecting the really large ones, and suffixing them with ".mov")
