“Byala reka” is a short film festival founded to popularize the short movie form and to gather together young professionals and amateurs.

The project aims to present the films in open air environment.

This is a three day festival lasting from 3 to 5 August 2007. It will take place in the ”Bjala reka” reserve in the Central Balkans region next to the town of Kalofer. The participants and the guests can accommodate in a tent camp near to the place of the festival. This will give a possibility for everybody to exchange opinions and ideas and to discuss the films. This exchange of ideas will help to create new professional contacts. Those of the participants who prefer better accommodation can use the monastery rooms near to the camp or stay in guest homes in the town of Kalofer.
