Minutes from Artists Meeting July 17th

The meeting discussion was around the possible exhibition at Brooklyn Polytech.
Raphaele Shirley, James Andrews & gh, met with Hans Steiner from IDMI and looked at the potential exhibitions areas. The photos of the Brooklyn Poly spaces are viewable at: http://post.thing.net/node/1647

The address of Brooklyn Polytech is 6 Metrotech Plaza. The Department that would be hosting the exhibiton is the Integrated Digital Media Institute at Polytechnic University.

Our exhibition time slot is roughly Mid October to Mid November. The venues that are available are:

1. The Pfizer auditorium. A 350 seat ampitheater with stereo sound system and potential for 6 data projectors. This space is accessible 9am – 10pm 7 days.
2. Executive training center 75-150 person lecture hall with projector & screen & sound system. The lecture room is a series of concentric circle continuous desks.
3. the Wunsch Building which is a Greek Temple that has an inner arcade room with 9 HD projectors and screens (1280x720p) It also has dolby 5.1 surround sound. The 5 speakers can be synched to the screens.

Raphaele suggested having an informal Artists Meeting get togethers such as a dinner party or meeting at a bar in order to loosen everyone up. It was also suggested we have a roof top party. Raphaele Shirley and gh both have roofs that would be acceptable.
