the markov assoziati is based in sofia, berlin and stuttgart. the office's projects include architecture, exhibition design, book production, as well as alternative technologies in design, project development and marketing. iassen markov was born in 1980 in sofia. as assistant professor of the institute for the fundamentals of modern architecture and design at the university of stuttgart he co-edited "5 codes: architecture, paranoia and risk in times of terror" with birkhäuser verlag (basel, 2006). in 2007-08, he was a fellow at akademie schloss solitude in stuttgart. http://www.iassen.net/
