A Taste of Greenwich House, Metropolitan Pavilion, Monday, March 14, 6 - 9:30 pm

On Monday, March 14, 2011, Greenwich House hosts the 9th Annual “A Taste of Greenwich House” event, presented by the Paul Singer Family Foundation. Top restaurants and chefs from around New York City will donate their services to support GH's wide variety of art and urban social service programs.

This year, “A Taste of Greenwich House” moves to a new venue: the 17,000 square-foot Metropolitan Pavilion at 125 West 18th Street in the Flatiron District of New York City. It is nearly double the size of last year’s venue.

For tickets or sponsorship please contact Yojiro Moro at YMoro@greenwichhouse.org or 212-991-0003 x 403. To purchase tickets online: www.greenwichhouse.org/taste2011

Guests will enjoy a variety of cuisine from around NYC as they support the critical programs of Greenwich House, including GH Pottery, the GH Music School, plus help for victims of child abuse, medical care for home-bound seniors, support for those living with HIV and AIDS, a substance abuse program, health and mental health programs, and many other vital social services.

The VIP Reception welcomes guests for the first hour (6–7 pm) and includes a book-signing from celebrity chef, author and TV personality Sara Moulton, as well as early access to the reception and auction.

At 7pm, the doors will open for general admission, when guests can wine and dine while bidding in the silent auction, which will feature items large and small, including ceramics from GH Pottery as well as surprise gift boxes.

Guests will also have opportunity to bid on luxury, high-end items in the silent auction. Items range in value, and have included such prizes as a trip to Grenada and Napa Valley, gift certificates to New York restaurants, tickets to a New York Knicks game, Platinum Cigars, and much more.
