Montage – In some sense meaning in film has two positions first is the internal story, the action inside each scene, the second is the interstitial meaning that come from the assembling of scenes. The meaning of a film has as much to do with the cutting from one scene to the other as it does with the script. Indeed, meaning is constructed through montage.
