Here's what's happening --

First I want to tell you a story. Once upon a time, five fearless fine art students set out to make something miraculous, something that would make people gaze in disbelief.

Hi,

We're starting a new section of post.thing.net called e-terview. Please answer the questions below. Of course you can skip over any you don't feel are relevant to your or your practice. Send your answers to ghh(at)thing.net and we'll put them in our e-terview section on post.thing.net

pages are more printable

The Thing redesign continues. Except for the front page all the navigation blocks have been turned off. When you click read more you now have a very clean page with only the article you want to read.

What is good about this is that you can print out the article and save it for your portfolio.

If yoou have any comment on the redesign you may contact ghh(at)thing.net

redesign thing newsletter.

Hi all,
you've signed up for the post.thing.net newsletter. This is a test run. We're experimenting with different options for the drupal interface. One of them is adding a random image to the front page. The image is selected from article images. If you click on the image you'll see the original image on the next screen and if you're lucky you'll also see a link to the original article (this image appears in...) this linking to the original article works sometimes and not others.
Maybe you have an idea why this is happening?

Also activated on the front page is a (tags in newsletter)link that takes you to the newsletter posting. We're trying to see if we can make drupal act like the original thing forums. We'll see. If you have a comment log into post.thing.net and leave your comment.

If you reply to this email it will get lost in the ether and will not appear as a comment.

test from Moderator

Now I'll test the html tags--

%site
%uri
%uri_brief

%date

maybe this'll work. Just for fun I'm uploading an image to see if that goes out in the email and also posts on the post.
title for me

second test to see if tags works

this is a test to see if the headline tags in the newsletter works. This is the only way I can figure out drupal is by baby steps and trial and error.
